Bailey's First Week

Bailey has had a brilliant start in foster care. His first night went really well - he enjoyed a bath, had a good play, settled quickly and slept soundly… although he has also mastered the art of quietly sneaking into bed for cuddles.

He walks nicely on the lead

Passes other dogs without issue

Was a superstar at the vets

He’s well-mannered

Great recall at home

He’s not a fan cats so when the time comes for adoption, he can’t live with cats. He’s a bit anxious with some noises and at being left but it’s a work in progress and a bit of TV helps him to settle. Tomorrow the fosters will start leaving him for a little longer so he can learn to be comfortable being on his own.

So far, Bailey is doing amazingly well and showing what a lovely (and slightly cheeky) boy he is.
