In Memory of 3 Primrose Pups
We are sad to inform our followers of the passing of 3 of our beloved Primrose Pups recently. Here is what their foster families had to say;
⭐️ Winston - “What a privilege it was caring for you in your senior years. You arrived an emaciated nearly 13 year old who nearly died and then blossomed into the happiest boy who loved to sleep, play in the garden and eat (we never did get you down to two meals a day, at least, not until the end when you stopped eating altogether). Rest easy our precious sweet boy”
⭐️ George - “We sadly lost our Gorgeous George aged 12 after a battle with doggy dementia that left him so confused and lost and made him an increasingly sad boy which didn’t suit his personality as he loved nothing more than wandering to his own tune.
We were privileged to be be his servants, oops family, for the past couple of years and thanks to UKBTR for entrusting us to bow to his every need especially his snacking demands - he was the most stubborn grumpy old man with no sh*ts to give - though he left plenty around for us to clear 😂 including a final gift to the vet receptionists 😬 but everyone who met him adored the old goat ❤️”
⭐️ Dexter - “Dexter came to me in Oct 24, and it felt like he had always been with us. Dexter was a gentle soul, who loved his walks, his food and to cuddle in with his hoomans. He loved nothing more than humping his sister Jeanie at the front door and never reacted when his other sister Nova chased him away from her food! His passing was very sudden and unexpected, and sadly I wasn’t able to be with him at the end. But my last words to him declared my never ending love for him and I’d see him soon”
Dexter fell ill suddenly whilst his foster mum was away. The rescue sprang into action to get him emergency care on a Sunday evening, but it transpired he had advanced cancer, with no warning signs. He passed at the end of January.
🌸 Our Primrose Pups stay in a loving foster home under the rescues care. Without your support, we couldn’t help them.
