Adoption Page 6 - Jax
Meet Jax (5 years old)

Jax doesn't need adventures. He needs patience.
Jax is looking for a foster-to-adopt home with an owner who has experience with dogs who have issues and who understands that confidence takes time to build and trust can't be rushed.
Jax will need support, and we're not going to pretend otherwise. He needs patience, consistency and someone willing to help him grow into the dog we know he can be.
Jax struggles with anxiety and is on medication to help him manage this. His future family will need to understand that he needs time, patience and a predictable environment to feel safe and secure.

Jax isn't looking for:
Jax could be an only dog, or live with a calm, steady "nanny" type dog who can help him navigate the world. The right person will understand that progress comes in small steps. When Jax finds that person, the bond they build together will be incredibly special.
Jax also has a best friend, Romy. While we're currently looking for a home for Jax on his own, if someone could consider welcoming both, it may help them settle more easily into family life.
Jax is based in Dorset. As this is a foster-to-adopt placement, potential adopters will need to commit to a couple of visits to get to know him before any move takes place.
If there's a resident dog, meet-ups will also be required. Could you be the person Jax has been waiting for?
