Daisy is a 7-year-old Boston Terrier cross Bulldog who is very much Boston Terrier in both looks and personality! With her adorable Boston features, a heart full of love, and a healthy dose of Boston sass, she's guaranteed to keep you smiling. At 11kg, she's a solid girl, but don't let her size fool you - she's convinced she's a lap dog and will happily snuggle up whenever given the chance.
Her bum rarely stops wiggling, and although she's seven years old, Daisy is still young at heart. She loves a game of fetch, squeaky toys, and spending time with her favourite humans.
Affectionate, playful, and full of character, Daisy has all the charm, comedy, and cheekiness that Boston Terrier lovers know and adore.
After settling into foster care, Daisy quickly showed what a wonderful companion she is. She's affectionate, adaptable, and happiest when she's close to her people, whether that's snuggling on the sofa, following you around the house, or supervising mealtimes in true Boston Terrier fashion!
Daisy is fully housetrained, travels well in the car, and can be left for short periods without worry.
She loves meeting new people and believes everyone she encounters should become part of her friendship group. She's particularly fond of fuss, attention, tasty treats, and a good game with a tennis ball. In the home, Daisy is calm and relaxed, enjoying plenty of snoozes between bursts of play.
She's a bright girl who knows commands and is eager to learn, especially when treats are involved.
Daisy can become very excited when she sees other dogs while out on walks, leading to some pulling and vocalising. This appears to be frustration and enthusiasm rather than aggression, and she would benefit from continued positive training and calm introductions to suitable canine friends.
She has previously lived successfully with other dogs, but for the time being we think a dog free home would be best for her.
Daisy does have an ongoing ear condition caused by an old haematoma which has left one ear misshapen. This requires simple ongoing management and medication to keep her comfortable, but it certainly doesn't stop her enjoying life to the fullest.
She isn't neutered yet so would come with a neutering contract to be done around August (due to her seasons), this would be covered by UKBTR.
We're looking for an experienced owner who can continue building Daisy's confidence around other dogs while giving her the love, attention, and companionship she adores. In return, you'll gain a loyal, affectionate, and wonderfully entertaining best friend. If you're looking for a loving companion who enjoys cuddles as much as playtime, Daisy could be the perfect addition to your family.
Daisy is currently in foster care in Sheffield, South Yorkshire, the successful applicant will need to collect her from there. Her adoption fee is: £400
