Long Line Lead UKBTR with Choice of Length

Lightweight Long Training Lines – Strong, Practical & Made in the UK especially for UKBTR

Designed especially with smaller dogs in mind, our lightweight long lines give your dog more freedom while giving you that all-important bit of reassurance.

Made in the UK using good-quality, lightweight yet strong webbing that is also manufactured here in the UK, these lines combine British materials with British craftsmanship.

They are lighter and less bulky than a traditional long line, but still strong, robust and made for real-life use.

The trigger hook has been specially chosen to be lighter in weight while remaining strong and dependable, so smaller dogs aren’t weighed down by unnecessarily heavy hardware.

Available in: Lengths: 1.5m • 3m • 6m • 9m

Colours:  Red or  Royal Blue

Finish: Handle or low-profile folded webbing tab

Choose a traditional handle for easy holding, or our folded webbing tab.

The tab is particularly useful when you want the line trailing behind your dog – there’s no large handle to snag on bushes, branches or other obstacles, but you can still quickly grab or step on the tab if recall suddenly becomes a little… selective. We know a few Bostons who have absolutely no idea what we mean by that.

Because the webbing is lightweight, the line is less noticeable to the dog, making it particularly useful for recall work and high-value reward training. It allows you to practise giving your dog freedom while retaining that extra level of security.

They’re also incredibly versatile – ideal for training, playtime, countryside walks, holidays and camping, or simply whenever you’d like your dog to have a little more freedom without quite trusting them with the keys to the kingdom.

And there’s an extra reason to love them: proceeds support UK Boston Terrier Rescue, helping Bostons in need on the next stage of their journey.

So your dog gets more freedom, you get more peace of mind, and together you’re helping support rescue Bostons. A little line that does a surprisingly big job.

  Safety & Care

As with all dog equipment, please check your long line regularly for signs of wear, damage or weakening, paying particular attention to the webbing, stitching and trigger hook before use.

These long lines are strong, but they are not chew-proof. Do not allow your dog to chew the webbing, and replace the line if it becomes damaged.

Long lines should always be used responsibly and with your dog’s safety, surroundings and other people and animals in mind.

Take particular care around roads, obstacles, trees and anywhere the line could become tangled or snagged.

Please supervise your dog while the long line is in use and never leave a dog unattended while attached to one
